Aaron McCollum

IT Helpdesk Spec II

As someone who transitioned careers, working at Agile Defense has allowed me to explore many areas within IT and gain valuable experience in service management, networking, cybersecurity, and more. My team has been incredible and very supportive, and I look forward to coming to work every day!

Eric Richards

Operations Director and Business Development

Culture in a company matters. It’s also something that’s frankly impossible to fake. After only one month into my position at Agile Defense, my father had a major life threatening medical event. It was sudden, scary, and shook our family to the core. During this time, senior leaders actively engaged with myself and my family – making sure we had everything we needed and we were honestly treated as family while my father recovered.

JonAllen Riggins

CAOC Cybersecurity Manager

During my two years with Agile Defense, I have been given the time and space to grow successfully into my role in Qatar. To develop not only an understanding of how the organization works, but also how it is continually evolving. While this might not seem to relate to my career advancement, I can confidently say that when a person is comfortable in their position, it moves them out of the constant cycle of searching for other opportunities into a cycle of personal and professional growth. I have earned my EC Incident Handler Certification because I felt confident that doing so would not put my position at risk.

Miguel A. Morales

TSIF Cad Designer

As a formal US ARMY Veteran with over 15 years of experience and a degree in Architectural & Engineering Computer Aided Design, I found myself facing many obstacles transitioning to the civilian work force. After a year working for a different agency, my life took a turn for the better when I accepted my position at Agile Defense. I found that my formal military discipline better aligned with the company mission and work ethics. I’ve been able to apply my experience and produce high quality work for our clients. Agile Defense has also helped me grow as an engineer with the professional development program. I was able to acquire the best programs to learn and do my job well. My only regret is that I didn’t find Agile Defense a year earlier.

Kiefer Jones

PMP & Certified Agility Leader Project Manager for AFOSR

When Agile Defense says “welcome to the family,” they mean it. Not only will they support your career and growth, but they will personally support you and your loved ones any chance they can. I was in a near death accident and in a coma for over a week, in the hospital almost a month, and out of work for five months. While waiting on long term disability to start, the incredible people in the company voluntarily donated almost 300 hours of their own personal paid time off– nearly 8 weeks- to me in order to assist my family and I. They held my position for five months and welcomed me back with open arms. Between professional growth, great mentors in the company, and encouraged personal growth, I can honestly say wouldn’t be the same person I am today without this wonderful family.

Debra Benge

Business Analyst III

I’ve been with Agile Defense for 3 years now, and the community has been phenomenal.  After a health scare that put me in recovery for 6 weeks, not only did my team leads reach out, but so did senior leadership, and they reached out to both me and my husband!  The support and learning opportunities never stop, either!  At Agile Defense, we’re not just coworkers and teammates, but family and friends across the board!  A call for advice, help, or information could get answered from any one of our teams across the globe!  Each team may have a different name and mission, but at the end of the day, we’re just one team, and the team comes first.  It’s like nothing I’ve ever seen before.

Work/life balance while working at Agile Defense is top tier! Thanks to my Work from Home role, I can easily handle all of life’s curveballs due to the flexibility afforded me.

Agile Defense has also accelerated my career through the generous Professional Development Fund. During my 5 year tenure with Agile, I have earned a Bachelor’s degree, a Master’s degree, and 15 certifications through the program.

Culture matters because it plays a crucial role in shaping the beliefs, values, behaviors, and norms of a group of people. It influences how individuals perceive and interact with the world around them, and it provides them with a sense of identity and belonging. In my experience here at Agile, it’s been just that. I’m not just a number but a person. I had several heartbreaking deaths within the first few months of employment at Agile Defense. My boss and coworkers rallied around me to provide much-needed support. Agile Defense really does live by “Welcome to the Family” when hired. I’m so grateful for the opportunity that I’ve been given.
