About JMIS

Agile Defense is on the Lockheed Martin team supporting the Joint Medical Information Systems (JMIS) Information Assurance (IA) Support Services contract (N65236-08-D-1803) to SPAWAR Systems Center (SSC) Atlantic.

Support under JMIS includes Network Security Engineering, Certification and Accreditation (C&A), Test and Evaluation (T&E), Systems Engineering and Integration, Independent Verification and Validation (IV&V), Life Cycle Support, Configuration Management (CM), Risk Assessment, Continuity of Operations (COOP) efforts, Integration and Maintenance/Repair Services, IA Training, and Information Assurance Program Management Support.

JMIS Contract Benefits

SPAWAR Systems Center (SSC) Atlantic is a Navy Working Capital Fund echelon 3 Command providing Command and Control, Communications, Computer, Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance (C4ISR) technical support to other Navy, DoD and Federal Agencies. SSC Atlantic ensures the operational requirements of those agencies are accurately identified and documented. SSC Atlantic procures the services of highly qualified, technically experienced contractors to meet the requirements of the Agencies. SSC Atlantic monitors contractors’ execution, accepts contractors’ products and services and provides the Agencies with the capabilities necessary to perform their mission. SSC Atlantic also provides life cycle support, as necessary, to ensure the Agency is able to fully utilize their new technical capabilities.
