Jay Lee President and Chief Executive Officer
Mr. Lee is the owner, President, and CEO of Agile Defense and oversees the company's support of the federal government in critical areas including information technology (IT) engineering and systems integration. Mr. Lee's focus is on ensuring that Agile Defense fulfills its promise of excellent professional services to its customers and on expanding the company's core capabilities into new and complementary markets. Prior to acquiring Agile Defense in 2010, Mr. Lee was a business consultant providing expert economic, finance, and tax consulting services to multi-national enterprises, including several Fortune 500 companies, while at various financial and accounting firms including BDO USA, LLP; Duff & Phelps, LLC; and KPMG LLP. He also served as the head of Professional Services for CrossBorder Solutions, a company that provided tax software applications to customers worldwide and that was later acquired by Thomson Reuters Corporation. Mr. Lee received his BA in Economics from University of Chicago and later pursued his MBA at the Leonard N. Stern School of Business at New York University.
LaMont J. Wells Chief Operating Officer
Mr. Wells is responsible for strategic direction, growth, and overall leadership of the company. During his military career in the U.S. Army, Mr. Wells achieved the rank of Colonel and was a highly decorated military officer who served in high-level command and staff positions both in the field and the Pentagon. Since retiring from the military, Mr. Wells has held positions of increasing responsibility in financial and program management both in government and the private sector. He served as the Deputy Chief Financial Officer and Chief Information Officer for the District of Columbia’s Presidential Appointed Financial Responsibility and Management Assistance Authority “The Control Board” ; Senior Vice President for ManTech; Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer for a small business specializing in government classified programs; Senior Vice President for Corporate Development for American Systems Corporation (AS), and most recently, Vice President for Strategy and Business Development with Siemens Government Services (SGS), a large government security engineering and integrated logistics company.
Mr. Wells is a Certified Professional Contracts Manager (CPCM), and has received certifications in Project Management, Defense Executive Acquisition, and Procurement Strategies for Information Technology. He is a distinguished military graduate of the University of Rhode Island, with a B.S. degree in Business Administration, and holds four masters degrees: M.S., national security and strategic studies, M.S., contracts and acquisition management, M.A., management, and M.S. information warfare and strategic studies and national resource strategy.
Terry Watkins Southeastern Regional Director, Business Development
Mr. Watkins is responsible for all business development activities in the Charleston, SC and southeastern region. Mr. Watkins' focus is on developing new business opportunity leads, establishing strategic relationships and positioning Agile Defense for strategic growth opportunities. Mr. Watkins was the former Department Head for Contracting, Finance, Logistics, Personnel and Admin at SPAWAR Systems Center Charleston. He served over 31 years at the Command. Mr. Watkins earned a BSEE and an MBA from The Citadel. He is a former Command Employee of the Year (as an Engineer) and received two Meritorious Civilian Service Awards and one Superior Civilian Service Award for his work at the Command.
Deb Hagstrom Regional Director, Scott AFB Operations
Ms. Hagstrom is responsible for leadership, growth, and strategic direction of Scott AFB Operations, which she manages from our regional office in O'Fallon, IL. Over her career, she has provided a variety of technical leadership, guidance, and support to USTRANSCOM and SDDC senior leadership, as well as, management oversight for personnel providing support to these commands.
Ms. Hagstrom is a Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer (MCSE) with over 15 years of experience in large-scale information systems analysis, design, development, and implementation. She also holds certifications as a Project Management Professional (PMP) from the Project Management Institute (PMI), as a Microsoft Office Specialist Master, and as a CompTIA A+ technician. Ms. Hagstrom received her BS in Communications from the University of Tennessee.
Donna Geaghan Facility Security Officer
Ms. Geaghan is the Facility Security Officer for Agile Defense. She has over six years of experience as a security professional and has handled all aspects of the industrial security program. Prior to joining Agile Defense, Ms. Geaghan was the Facility Security Officer for Hewlett Packard/Electronic Data Systems. Ms. Geaghan holds an Associate's degree from Mt. Ida College.
Daniel Yuly Controller
Mr. Yuly is responsible for managing Agile Defense’s finance and accounting department. Mr. Yuly serves as the company’s lead accountant and is responsible for all financial matters to include financial planning, reporting, and analysis. He has eight years of experience in accounting to include DELTEK cost accounting system expertise. Mr. Yuly has a BS in Accounting from George Mason University.
